Перевод задания: Заполните таблицу, затем расскажите, как образуются сравнительная и превосходная степени прилагательных.

Completed table:

Adjective	Comparative	Superlative
big	bigger than	the biggest
short	shorter than	the shortest
beautiful	more beautiful than	the most beautiful
large	larger than	the largest
expensive	more expensive than	the most expensive
long	longer than	the longest
bad	worse than	the worst
good	better than	the best
little	less than	the least

How we form them: We usually add -er and -est to short adjectives. With big, we double the final consonant; with large, we add -r and -st. With longer adjectives, we use more and the most. Some forms are irregular: good — better — the best, bad — worse — the worst, little — less — the least.

Перевод: Обычно к коротким прилагательным добавляются окончания -er и -est. В слове big удваивается конечная согласная; в слове large добавляются -r и -st. С длинными прилагательными используются слова more и the most. Некоторые формы образуются не по правилу: good — better — the best (хороший — лучше — самый лучший), bad — worse — the worst (плохой — хуже — самый плохой), little — less — the least (малый — меньше — наименьший).
