Film: The Lord of the Rings, based on J. R. R. Tolkien’s book.

Opinion: I think the film is very good because it brings the characters and the imaginary world to life.

Arguments: The actors are convincing and the special effects are impressive. For example, the landscapes and battles make the story exciting. The reason is that the film combines a strong plot, wonderful music and beautiful pictures.

Agreement: It’s true that the film is exciting. I don’t think anyone could disagree that it is beautifully made.

Opposing opinion: But the film leaves out some details from the book. On the other hand, it is easier to understand the main events in the film.

Conclusion: In conclusion, the book gives more details, but the film makes Tolkien’s world vivid and exciting. On the whole, I prefer both the book and the film.
