Tundra Climate Characteristics:

• Cold weather.
• Long and hard winters (about 6 to 10 months).
• The sun shines for only a short season.
• Midnight sun in summer.
• Darkness in winter.
• Temperatures can be as low as -35°C.

Hot Desert Climate Characteristics:

• Very hot during the day.
• Temperatures can be below freezing at night.
• Very little rain.
• Little vegetation.
