Last weekend Mum and Dad took me to the carnival parade. There were lots of people there. I've never seen such a big crowd. All the carnival people wore beautiful costumes. There was a in the street and they played great music. There were big drums, so the music was very loud. We watched some performers do their special performance, and we met a very tall man – he was on stilts. All over the town, there were bright lights and amazing decorations. A man with a microphone told the audience to move to the side because the parade was going to start. It was the best carnival ever!
