Dear Akim,

I am writing to tell you about the great time I am having with my grandpa in the countryside.

Every day, we wake up early and we start our day with a big healthy breakfast. Then we go for a long walk by the lake. I really enjoy it because there are so many birds and animals here that you don’t see in the city.

Tomorrow, my grandpa and I are going fishing. He has a small boat. I hope it doesn’t rain.

See you when I get back,
Tom

Present continuous используется для действий, происходящих сейчас или запланированных на ближайшее будущее; present simple — для привычных и постоянных действий и состояний.
