Krakow’s Main Square is one of the largest squares in Europe. It is also one of the most beautiful. In the middle of the square, there’s a large building called the Cloth Hall. Inside the Cloth Hall, there are a lot of shops for tourists. There’s a museum under the building, and if you go up the stairs to the first floor, there’s an art gallery. Next to the Cloth Hall, there’s a statue of Adam Mickiewicz, a famous Polish writer. Along the sides of the square are many other buildings, some of them older than the Cloth Hall and some are more modern. The square is quite close to the train station, so it’s easy to get to. But if you don’t want to go on foot, you can always take a taxi.
