Dialogue:

F: We had a fantastic time on our summer holiday - except for the day we went to the island.
E: What happened?
F: We were travelling on a fast boat to visit a beautiful little island. The captain of the boat was going very fast and the waves were really big. Suddenly, the boat hit a giant wave.
E: Oh no! The boat hit a giant wave.
F: There was a loud bang, the front window broke and lots and lots of water rushed in.
E: Wow! That sounds really frightening.
F: Yeah, well, we were shocked because it happened so quickly and the water hit us really hard. Luckily, nobody was seriously hurt.
E: What did you do?
F: Well, in the end we got to the island - wet but very relieved to be back on dry land.
E: What a nightmare! Next time, we'll take the slow boat.
