2. Write out from Chapter 3 all the sentences describing Mr Wonka’s factory. In your opinion, what was happening behind its walls? Who was working there?

Mr Wonka’s factory was enormous. It had high walls, huge gates and chimneys. Strange smells came from it, and nobody could see inside. The factory was always closed, and no workers were seen entering or leaving it.

In my opinion, Mr Wonka was secretly making unusual sweets and chocolate behind the walls. The workers were probably the Oompa-Loompas, who helped him run the factory.
