Hi Rose,
We’re having a great time in Italy. We spent the first day on the beach. I went kayaking. Sam didn’t want to come with me—he sunbathed on the beach. Yesterday, the weather wasn’t great, so we didn’t go to the shopping district in the morning, but we didn’t buy any souvenirs. After lunch, we played cards and board games. Last night, we had dinner in a pizza restaurant.

Love,
Anna

1 went; 2 didn’t want; 3 sunbathed; 4 wasn’t; 5 didn’t go; 6 didn’t buy; 7 played; 8 had.
