I often go to the mountains with my family. When we get there, some of us collect wood for the fire and others build a shelter. Next, we all go to find food and water and catch fish for lunch. My dad always cooks the fish over a campfire. It can take a long time to light the fire if the wood is wet. In the afternoon, we go for a walk to identify plants. I write their names in my notebook. We sometimes pick fruit, too. We use a compass in the mountains because it's easy to get lost!
