My Favourite Place

My favourite place is Green Park in the centre of my city. It is a huge, beautiful park with large green fields and hundreds of tall trees. It is a peaceful place, although it is close to busy streets.

You can see lovely gardens, colourful flowers, pretty ponds and amazing birds there. People can walk along quiet paths, ride bicycles, have picnics and play sports. In winter, children can enjoy skating on a small ice rink.

I love this park because it has fresh air and helps me escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
