Dear Ben,

Thanks for your letter. The new Sherlock Holmes film sounds great! I enjoy adventure films and comedies because they are exciting and can make me laugh. I also like detective stories, especially when I can try to guess who the criminal is before the end.

I prefer watching films at home. It is comfortable, and I can pause the film whenever I want. However, going to the cinema with friends is more exciting because of the big screen and excellent sound.

If I had a chance to make a film, I would make an adventure film about a group of young people who discover a hidden island. They would solve clues and help the island’s animals.

What did you think of the Sherlock Holmes film?

Best wishes,
Alex
