Evaluating Speaker Performance:
This section requires the listener to evaluate a speaker based on a provided list of criteria. The evaluation should be one of the following for each point:
- Welcomes the audience: very well / OK / needs to improve
- Tells what he/ she is going to talk about: very well / OK / needs to improve
- Speaks slowly and clearly: very well / OK / needs to improve
- Sounds interested in what he/ she is saying: very well / OK / needs to improve
- Tries to build a relationship with the audience: very well / OK / needs to improve
- Chooses vocabulary that the audience will know, and explains any difficult words: very well / OK / needs to improve
- Uses correct language (grammar and vocabulary): very well / OK / needs to improve
- Looks at everyone in the group: very well / OK / needs to improve
Note: The judgment for each point depends on the actual observation of the speaker during their talk.
