Перевод задания: Посмотрите лексику в уроке 3.4 учебника. Прочитайте отзывы о фильме «Прибытие». Посмотрите на выделенные слова и исправьте ошибки.

Исправления выделенных слов и выражений:

  • science-fiction genre (жанр научной фантастики), не gender (пол);
  • take on the job (взяться за эту работу);
  • an A-list actor (актёр первой величины);
  • a blockbuster movie (кассовый фильм);
  • the trailer (трейлер);
  • stand up for the humans (заступаться за людей);
  • computer-generated images (изображения, созданные компьютером);
  • dedicate yourself to watching (посвятить себя просмотру);
  • the box office (касса кинотеатра);
  • When does Arrival 2 come out? (Когда выйдет «Прибытие 2»?)

Слово relate в выражении “can’t relate to the characters” употреблено правильно: оно означает «не может сопереживать персонажам».

Translation: Corrections: science-fiction genre; take on the job; an A-list actor; a blockbuster movie; the trailer; stand up for the humans; computer-generated images; dedicate yourself to watching; the box office; When does Arrival 2 come out? The phrase “can’t relate to the characters” is already correct.
