How will our planet change in the next 80 years? According to some scientists, the planet won't change a lot without more action to stop climate change. The Arctic will lose 12% of its sea ice in ten years. By 2050, there won't be any ice on the Arctic Ocean in the summer - none! Global sea levels will increase between 0.6 and 1.3 metres by 2100 so there will be floods in many towns and cities near the sea. Some countries won't get any rain at all so there will be more droughts. People in these countries won't have water to grow plants without rain.
But it's not all bad news. Lots of people around the world are changing their habits and governments are starting to do more to stop climate change. If we all work together, we will help to save the planet for future generations.
