Do you know how the Russian education system differs from any foreign ones?

The Russian education system starts at age 6 or 7, with primary school lasting four years, secondary school five years, and senior school two years. The school day typically runs from 8:30 am to 3 pm, with 4-7 lessons daily. The school week can be 5 or 6 days long, and large cities may have separate morning and afternoon sessions. The academic year is divided into four terms with three breaks, starting September 1st and ending May 31st. A national exam combines school-leaving and university entrance exams.
