Every morning, Leo wakes up at 7 a.m. and has breakfast with his family. Today, however, he is getting up later because he worked on a school project until late last night. Right now, he is drinking tea and thinking about his plans for the day. He usually takes the bus to school, but this week he is walking because the weather is so nice.

Past Simple.
