The Twelve Months

Fairy tale

There is a poor woman with five children. They have very little to eat. One day the woman goes to the forest and meets 12 young men. They are the 12 months and they ask her, "What do you think about us?” The woman says nice things about them all. "We have a good time in March, April and May because the trees are green and the farmers are happy in the fields. Poor people are happy in June, July and August because we don't wear warm clothes. September, October and November give us fruit and vegetables. We love December and February because we can sit at home and good." The 12 months give her a pot of gold for her children.
