Have you ever tried an extreme sport? What extreme sports do you know? Why do people do them? Would you like to do an extreme sport?

I have never tried an extreme sport. I know of skateboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, and surfing. People do them for the adrenaline rush, the challenge, and the sense of accomplishment. I would like to try snowboarding someday.
