Hi! My name is Kate, and I'm a student at Greenfield School. I really enjoy going to school every day!My school is big and bright. When I come in the morning, I leave my coat in the cloakroom and go to my classroom. Lessons start at 8:30 when the bell rings. Today, my first lesson was Mathematics. I had to answer at the blackboard and solve a difficult problem. I like Maths, but sometime s it's not easy! After that, we had a short break, and I talked with my friends in the corridor. The third lesson was English. We had a dictation we had to listen carefully and write all the words correctly. Then we read a short story and spoke about it in English. Our teacher always explains new words very well.At 12:00, we have lunch break. I usually go to the canteen with my classmates. The food there is very tasty! After lunch, I sometimes visit the library to take a new book for Literature. In the afternoon, we had Science. We went to the science lab and learned about plants and animals. It was very interesting! Then we had Physical Education in the gym. We ran, jumped and played volleyball. PE is one of my favourite lessons! Before going home, we had Art. We drew beautiful pictures with coloured pencils. I love this subject it's so creative! When the last lesson ended, the bell rang again. I checked my timetable to see what homework I have for tomorrow. I need to learn new English words, memorize a poem for Literature and prepare for a test in History. Sometimes, if I don't feel well, I can go to the nurse's office. The school nurse is very kind and always helps me.I love my school! During the school year, we study many interesting subjects: Russian, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Music, Technology and Computer Science. Every term brings new knowledge, a I'm happy to learn something new. I can't wait for the next day at school though I also look forward to the holidays! On the last day of each term, we often have special events in the assembly hall. great place for concerts and celebrations! I'm glad to be a student here. School is not just about lessons it's about friends, fun and growing up!
