Dialogue 2:

A: What did you buy yesterday?

B: I bought a bar of chocolate and a bottle of cola.

A: How much did they cost?

B: They cost [price] altogether.

Dialogue 3:

A: What did you buy yesterday?

B: I bought a packet of crisps and a bottle of cola.

A: How much did they cost?

B: They cost [price] altogether.

Dialogue 4:

A: What did you buy yesterday?

B: I bought a jar of jam and a bar of chocolate.
