My name is Francois Lemontagne. I 1) _______ (be) from Canada. I 2) _______ (teach) ICT in English at Maesai Prasitsart for seven years. Several of the Thai cave boys 3) _______ (attend) this school. When I 4) _______ (see) the video, the British divers 5) _______ (speak) English and there 6) _______ (be) an answer from the kids. And I thought, “This is great, this is incredible!” I was really proud of those kids, that they 7) _______ (be able to) answer something in English. The situation with the cave in Tham Luang 8) _______ (help) the kids to realise that it's great if you 9) _______ (can) say a few words in English. You never know when you 10) _______ (need) English. English 11) _______ universal. All these kids 12) _______ (have to) learn English if they 13) _______ (want) to improve their career in the future. We 14) _______ (be) in a remote area of Thailand. We 15) _______ (not / be) in Bangkok. My mission as a teacher is to open their mind that there 16) _______ (be) something else in the world apart from Thailand.
