Not everyone needs the sort of education that is offered in the secondary school system. After primary school, students have learned the basic skills required to work in an unskilled job, and do not need the more advanced education that (8) secondary school offers. Sons or daughters often (9) carry on the family business, and after completing their primary education, any further, more advanced education is unnecessary, because they can learn all they need to know about their future profession from their father/mother.
