Mary loved Saturdays, because on Saturdays she didn't have to go to school and she spent the whole day with the family. Her father always came up with funny and sometimes crazy ideas on how to spend the day.

That Saturday was a perfect day for camping. Mary and her father packed all the things they needed: tents, matches to make fire, warm clothes, sleeping bags and some board games. Their mother prepared sandwiches, boiled eggs, delicious pumpkin soup, some pastries and drinks. They were all set and left the house at midday.

It was a long way through the forest and at 2pm the family decided to take a break and relax near the river. They had some tea and sandwiches, the father told a couple of jokes and they decided to move on. At 5pm Mary and her parents arrived at a beautiful place deep in the forest surrounded by the trees. The father started to set the tents and Mary and her mother decided to get some wood to make fire. It was getting darker and cooler, so mother got some warm clothes for Mary. When everything was ready, they heated up the delicious pumpkin soup and were looking at the sky covered with numerous stars. At 9pm they went to bed. It was dark and she couldn't hear any noises. She fell asleep with the thought: "It is the best Saturday ever".
