When Mum was young, her dream was to go and live in her grandfather's village home. The winters there aren't as cold as they are in the city and life is more relaxed; nobody is in a hurry. She liked the fact that people in the village weren't as busy, and they enjoyed their time with friends and neighbours more than people in the city. She also thought that going for walks in the countryside was more exciting than going to the cinema or shopping. But now that she's older, she thinks that some other things are better. For example, in the city, hospitals are more important, and life in general is easier than it is in the village.
