Dear Diary,

I had a great day yesterday. I went to a party. It was a surprise party for my friend. He didn't know (1) anything about it. He was very surprised! There were (2) many people in his house. I didn't know (3) any people at the party at first but I quickly made (4) some new friends! The music was great and I danced. There was a (5) lot of great food. I ate sandwiches and chips. I didn't have (6) any pizza but I had a (7) lot birthday cake. It was delicious. I was tired today, so I didn't do (8) anything exciting.

I had a quiet day at home.
