You play field hockey (not ice hockey) with a hockey on grass. You can hit the ball hard to try and score a goal, pass it to another player or 'dribble' it. (When you 'dribble', you move the ball with short hits.) You have to be brave to play hockey because the ball is hard and it often hits the players' legs. Ouch! The photo comes from our school competition last summer. 4 Have you ever played rugby? The player with the ball has to carry the ball, pass it or kick it to points.
