Read the text and mark the statements (NS). 1 am Tom. I'm British and I'm going to describe my living room to you. My living room is very big andbright. I keep it clean and tidy because it is my favourite room in the house. Its walls are white and the floor is grey. In the floor, in the centre, there is a big blue carpet. On it I have my two armchairs, a sofa and a coffee table. There is also a small round table where I sometimes put the book I am reading. I enjoy reading so there is a bookcase with many books in it. On the bookcase there is a vase with a small plant and an old clock. In one corner of the living room there is a big plant in a vase. The living room is very warm in winter because it has got a fireplace. Above it there are some pictures. Next to the fireplace thereis a round table with a table lamp on it. There are four windows and two of them have got lovely violet curtains my mother made herself. I like to read and have a rest in my living room. It's warm and cosy. 1. Tom has got a sister. 2. His favourite part of the house is the living room. 3. There is a sofa in the living room. 4. There is a big carpet on the floor. 5. Tom likes reading. 6. The living room is cold in summer.
