The text is a blog post titled "DzienZaDniem" (Day by Day) written by Dominik on February 19th (Thursday).

Dominik is happy because he got a game he had been dreaming about for months. His mother doesn't want to hear about it and says that playing games is a waste of time and that a real hobby is philately (stamp collecting). Dominik wonders who collects stamps these days and who even writes letters anymore. He notes that even his mother sends Christmas wishes via SMS and only sends postcards to her old aunt from Gdańsk.

He doesn't know anyone who collects stamps. His friends play computer or console games in their free time. Some collect football cards or even go to matches or watch them on TV. He knows that Paweł and Andrzej practice hockey, and Szymon practices karate, but he hasn't heard of them collecting anything. As for girls, he doesn't know what they're interested in, but it seems they spend all their time taking pictures and uploading them to Instagram.

Dominik's father was a numismatist (coin collector) when he was younger and supposedly had a great collection. Nowadays, it doesn't seem to interest anyone. When his mother tells him he should collect something, he replies that he's collecting time for playing games ;-). He agrees with his mother on one thing - you need to do something in your free time. He plays games, and asks the readers what their interests are.

He ends by saying "Write to me!" and signs off with his name, Dominik.
