My trip to Delhi
Saturday
After two flights, I finally arrived in Delhi. 1_ It didn't take
long, and I was soon driving through the streets to my small
hotel. The owner was really kind and friendly. 2 It was very
clean and comfortable. I was really tired, so I read some of my
tourist guide to India. 3
Sunday
I got up at about 8 o'clock and went down for breakfast.

Afterwards, I went out into Delhi. I found a taxi and went
to my first tourist spot: the Shri Lakshmi Narain Temple.
S Inside, I found a guide and learned a lot about the history
of the beautiful building. After this, I went to Raj Ghat. This
is the last resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. The gardens were
very green and there were lots of trees, but the fountains were
dry because of the heat. After this I was very tired and hot. 6
Later, when I felt better, I went for dinner at a restaurant.
I had a dosa, which is a kind of pancake with curried potatoes
and onions. Tomorrow, I'm going to visit Humayun's Tomb
and the museum. I'm going to go to the markets and do
some shopping too. 7 Then I'll probably catch a flight to
Varanasi. It's a very famous historical place. I'll let you know
what it's like!

C I didn't feel like exploring any more, so I went back to my
hotel for a rest.
