As I see it, living on Mars is a distant but plausible possibility. To be honest, there are huge technological and psychological challenges to overcome. For one thing, we need to develop sustainable life support systems and protect people from radiation. But then again, humanity has always strived to explore the unknown. I think that it would be a tremendous achievement, but it would take generations and a lot of resources to make it a reality.
