Summarize the story of Androcles and the Lion.

A lion with a thorn in its paw is helped by a slave named Androcles. Later, Androcles is forced to fight the same lion. However, the lion recognizes Androcles and shows no aggression. The Emperor, surprised by this, frees both Androcles and the lion. They return to the mountain and live together happily.
