Sutton Hoo is a place in eastern England. There are eighteen low, man-made hills there. In 1939, a discovery was made 2 the archaeologist Basil Brown: he found a 'ghost' ship inside one of the mounds. The wood of the ship was destroyed, but the ship left its shape in the sand. It was 27 metres long and archaeologists think it pulled up to the hills from the river below. Then a dead man and his treasures 4 buried inside it.
