What do people usually do on Earth Day? Do you and your classmates celebrate this holiday? Why?

On Earth Day, people show their love and care for the planet by planting trees, picking up roadside trash, and taking part in 'green' projects. Thousands of different activities and celebrations to honor our home planet are held all over the world. As a student, I also participate in these activities on Earth Day to show my commitment to environmental conservation.
