What is the difference between the UK, Great Britain and England?

The UK (The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) includes Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain is the island that includes England, Scotland, and Wales. England is one of the countries on the island of Great Britain.
