The United States of America is located in the central part of North America. The country is bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The USA is washed by the Atlantic Ocean in the east and the Pacific Ocean in the west. Alaska is separated from the mainland and borders on Russia across the Bering Strait. Hawaii is a group of islands in the central part of the Pacific Ocean.
