Thank you for your email! It's great to hear from you. Christmas time sounds amazing!

In Russia, we have several popular holidays. The most well-known are New Year's Day, Orthodox Christmas (celebrated on January 7th), and Maslenitsa (a week before Great Lent). We celebrate New Year's with decorated trees, gifts, and festive meals. Christmas is a more religious holiday, often spent with family. Maslenitsa involves feasting, especially on blini (pancakes), and traditional games.
