ICT: Collect information using the Internet, then write a short paragraph about what your town was like 100 years ago.
Example Paragraph (based on a hypothetical town):
One hundred years ago, my town was a very different place. Instead of paved roads, there were mostly dirt tracks, and horse-drawn carts were the main mode of transport. Buildings were lower, with fewer storeys, and many were made of wood or local stone. There were fewer cars, and those that existed were noisy and slow. Electricity was not yet widespread, so evenings were lit by gas lamps or candles. The local economy was likely based on agriculture or small workshops, rather than the larger industries or services we see today. Life moved at a slower pace, and the community felt much smaller and more interconnected.
