Firstly, I definitely think it is necessary to speak a foreign language. It broadens your mind and gives you more opportunities in life. Also, you can learn about different cultures and communicate with people from all over the world.

Secondly, Russian students usually start learning English at school at the age of 7 or 8, in the second grade.

Finally, outside the classroom, I improve my English by watching movies and TV series in English, reading books, and practicing speaking with my friends who also learn English. Sometimes, I use language learning apps, but I prefer real-life interactions.
