To protect the environment, I recycle old clothes by taking them to charity shops. When I go shopping, I use cloth bags instead of plastic ones. If I buy plastic bottles, I collect them and then recycle them. I don’t throw away tin cans, because they damage the soil. I don’t use chemicals, because some of them destroy ozone. I cycle to school, instead of using cars or public transport, because gases pollute the air we breathe. I reduce energy use, because producing electricity also causes climate change. When it is autumn, I rake the leaves in my garden. When it is summer, I volunteer to help the local organizations by cleaning the ponds in the parks.
