On the one hand, adopting a stray animal is a good act. You can find a new friend with four paws, who will be devoted to you. You can help the animal to find its home and reduce the amount of stray animals on the streets.

On the other hand, adopting a stray animal is a big decision. You must think twice before adopting it, because you have to understand the responsibility you are going to take. Furthermore, going to the vet might cost a lot of money and not all animals are easy to train.

To sum up, there are strong arguments both for and against adopting a stray animal. Nowadays, there are many shelters for the homeless animals and people try their best to take care of them. Many of these animals find their homes and live a happy life. However, I believe that adopting a stray animal is a good act, because every creature deserves love and happiness.
