There is no doubt that taking exams can be stressful. To begin with, tricky exams don’t show how much a student really knows. For example, if student has a multiple-choice test, he will have much fortune in passing it by selecting random variants. What is more, students who really know the subject can be very nervous passing these kinds of tests; how they feel on that day may affect their grade.

On the other hand, there are pros in taking exams. One advantage is that exams give students an idea of how they are going. They encourage students to study. Also, the tests are the quickest way to test students. Teachers don’t have to spend much time on checking them.
