On a hill a short distance from the house is a wood, and a small stream flows past the end of the garden, which also contains a small pond. On the ground floor there is a large living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. There is also a garage next to the house. The village has a post office, a small shop and a pub, and there is a railway station three miles away.
