Letter to a Pen Friend

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to tell you a bit about the weather in Russia, and when would be the best time for you to visit.

As you probably know, Russia is a large country, so the weather can vary a lot depending on where you are. In general, we have long, cold winters with plenty of snow. Temperatures can drop well below freezing, and it's not unusual to have snow on the ground for several months.

Summers, on the other hand, can be quite warm and sunny, especially in the southern parts of the country. The weather in my city, [Your City], is pretty typical for Russia. We have cold winters and warm summers.

If you're planning a visit, I'd recommend coming in the summer, from June to August. The weather is usually pleasant, and there are lots of things to see and do. You could visit some of our beautiful parks and gardens, or take a boat trip on the river.
