Writing: Write a story about a scary holiday experience you had (120–180 words). Follow the plan below: Part 1: who the main characters were, when and where the story took place, what the weather was like; Parts 2/3: describe the events; Part 4: describe the ending/feelings.

Last summer, my cousin Anna and I went camping in a forest near the coast. We arrived in the afternoon, but the weather soon changed. Dark clouds covered the sky, the wind became stronger and heavy rain began to fall.

That night, we were sitting in our tent when we heard a loud noise outside. It sounded like someone was walking around us. We stopped talking and listened. Suddenly, the tent moved violently. Anna grabbed my hand, and we called our uncle, who was sleeping in the next tent. He came out with a torch, but there was nobody there. Then we saw that a large branch had fallen onto the tent and the wind was pushing it.

In the morning, the storm had passed. We were safe, but we decided to leave the forest immediately. I had never been so frightened before, and I will always remember that scary night.
