В. At the winter Olympic Games in Sochi, which took place from the 7^th to the 23^rd of February 2014, the Russian team got thirty-three medals: thirteen gold, eleven silver and nine bronze medals. It was the best result in all the history of the Russian team’s participation in The Olympic Games. Russian sportsmen took part in all fifteen kinds of sport. The biggest number of medals got figure-skaters and skiers (five different medals in each category). Besides, five medals were awarded in a short-track competition. Victor An won three gold and one bronze medals.

A good sportsman should be: ambitious, brave, clever, cooperative, courageous, friendly, intelligent, organised, patient, polite, quiet, reasonable, courteous, self-confident, self-disciplined, serious, skillful, smart, understanding, hard-working, devoted, caring, involved.

A good sportsman shouldn’t be: boastful, careless, lazy, relaxed, mean, forgetful, impolite, uncooperative.
