Hi Erin, I’m really enjoying my philosophy course! I’ve attended all my lectures so far and I’m learning a lot. I’m glad I don’t have to give any lectures, though. I’d forget what to say. I’m reading a lot too; it’s a great way to deepen my knowledge of the subject. I’ve chosen my option for this year – logic! I don’t have to sit an exam at the end of the course, but I have to write a long essay. I’ve also discovered I have a passion for surfing and I’m going to enrol on a course in summer. I know you love water sports – would this be of any interest to you? We could do it together!

What about you? Have you finished writing your dissertation yet? Do you still want to work in the field of computer technology?

Oh, good news! My brother is still at school; he didn’t get expelled after all. In fact, he’s really changed! He’s studying hard now and he got a scholarship to study in France for three months.

Write soon,
Karl
