An Accident

John was driving home from the station in his car yesterday evening when he had an accident. He was driving along a main road at 80 kms. an hour when another car came out of a side road and hit his. There was a lot of damage to both cars and both John and the other man were hurt. One of John's arms was broken, and the other man had a cut on his head.

Another car followed John's. They were driving slowly so the car stopped immediately and a man and a woman were getting out of it. They ran to the damaged cars and pulled John and the other man out of them because they thought these cars will catch fire and burn the two men. The man and the woman had some cotton-wool and bandages in their car, so they were putting them on the cuts on John's arm and on the other man's head. Then they phoned a doctor and arrived the police. Soon an ambulance was arriving and did arrive the two men to hospital.

Then two policemen arrived too and began to measure things. A tow truck came and pulled the two cars off the road.
