$$x^2 = \frac{49}{16}$$
$$x = \pm \sqrt{\frac{49}{16}} = \pm \frac{7}{4} = \pm 1.75$$
$$x_1 = 1.75, x_2 = -1.75$$
г) $$x^2 - 2x - 35 = 0$$
$$D = (-2)^2 - 4 \cdot 1 \cdot (-35) = 4 + 140 = 144$$
$$x_1 = \frac{-(-2) + \sqrt{144}}{2 \cdot 1} = \frac{2 + 12}{2} = \frac{14}{2} = 7$$
$$x_2 = \frac{-(-2) - \sqrt{144}}{2 \cdot 1} = \frac{2 - 12}{2} = \frac{-10}{2} = -5$$
